SM Series DOB Surface Mount Downlight
The SM series DOB surface mount downlight is a great option for large rooms and/or rooms with low ceilings. This recessed light blends in well with the ceiling, so it will not use as much space as traditional hanging light fixtures. This fixture is supplied with a quick connect-case and conduit, so that the downlight can be easily connected to the existing recessed fixture frame junction box. With its driver on board(DOB) technology it does not have any decay element. Thus, its life is supposed to be almost similar to that of the LEDs. When connected in tandem with the LED strings, the current very closely follows the voltage pattern thus giving a form factor of almost one to one. Also, DOB technology allows switching out the fixture to be simpler and gives the fixture more retrofit potential.
